This afternoon we took the kids on a little adventure.
Our first stop was Sunfish Pond on Armenia Mt.
We hiked around the pond and feasted on wild blueberries the whole way.
Apparently a bear wanted to test exactly how "bear proof" the garbage can were.
Bunnies!
Next we drove up Kellogg Mt. into some State Game Lands and found a great creek to swim in.
Look at how deep the water was!
On our way out of the Game Lands, we saw that a tree had fallen while we were swimming.
Thankfully Nick's little blue car is 4-wheel drive....so we went around it.
After going through McD's drive-thru for a quick treat, we headed home.
We saw a gorgeous sunset.
Complete with some fog.
And a fawn,
Amazing how far you can get on a tank of gas and a little imagination.
