Touch-A-Truck

We had the opportunity to attend a community event called "Touch-A-Truck" this weekend at a small, local airport.
It is a fundraiser for the area's Big Brother's/Big Sister's program.
Kids can see, climb on and learn about different vehicles and equipment. A little boy's dream come true! Nick and a couple other employees from Rovendale brought 2 tractors and a riding lawn mower for the kids to climb on. They were a big hit, especially the big blue tractor.

The morning began with a fly in/ drive in all you can eat breakfast. The kids loved watching the planes land and take off. The breakfast was pretty good too.

Then began the truck climbing! Alex and Niyah were good sports. They enjoyed the breakfast and helping Nick with Rovendale's display, but it was Nater that was super thrilled with the actual event.

 {Hey! This one's for sale!}

 {We got to visit with the pilot of this plane.
He even gave Nater a DVD that tells the history of the plane}

 {Love those big blue tractors}

 {What's the matter, Alex? Are you afraid of your new bus driver?}

 {Nater and his cousin Wyatt}

 {Land Ho!}
