Nick has been working crazy hours with his current job.
We so thankful for his job, as there are many areas where jobs are scarce, but when a day off comes around we take full advantage of it.
It was a day of surprises for the kids. We told them we were running some errands, but didn't tell them where we were going.
They were definitely surprised when we pulled into Callear's. one of their favorite restaurants.
One of the best things about Callear's is that you can draw on the brown paper table cloths!
We always come up with some interesting artwork while waiting for our food.

After lunch, we took the kids to the bowling alley!
Niyah and Nater had never been bowling.
After we got home from bowling, the kids got to go spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy went on a date! We went to see the movie "Courageous".
