Volcanoes!

We have been doing a Unit Study on volcanoes all week. It has been one of my favorites.

Today we worked on making a volcano diagram. 

Even Nater participated in this craft. He did this one all by himself.

 

Then we created a volcanic eruption!

It's been 5 hours and my hands are still pink. haha

 So neat!

To go along with our volcano theme, I made volcanic meatloaf for supper. 

I used an oven safe bowl and molded my meatloaf up the sides. 

After it was done baking, I added colored mashed potatoes to the center and then flipped the entire thing upside down onto a plate. It was a huge hit! 

and chocolate lava cake for dessert!
