Nick had a training class in Exton Pa yesterday. Exton is about 30 miles from Philadelphia.
We left at about 3:30am so Nick could make it down by 8:00.
3:30 am is not pretty.
While Nick was at the class, the kids and I drove over to the City of Brotherly Love.
We found a parking garage and then set off on foot.
The first neat thing we came to was Franklin Square Park.
This girl is just like her Mommy in her love for critters.
That squirrel eventually ate took that nut right from her hand.
The park had a neat old carousel. But at $2.50 a person to ride, we decided to pass on that.
The city is filled with huge, old trees.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has a "Money in Motion" Exhibit.
No picture taking was allowed, but we got to see a 26 foot tall tube of shredded money along with a make believe, futuristic look at money in the year 2200.
At the end of the tour, the kids got their own little bag of shredded money.
On the back of the bag, it says...
"This packet of shredded currency represents about $100."
