Advent 2014 {Part One}

For the past 5 years we have done an advent calender at Christmas time.

Every night, the kids open that day's envelope and as a family we complete the activity inside.

Here are some of the things we have done so far...

{Hot Cocoa and Christmas Movies- "Ernest Saves Christmas", to be exact}

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{Family Game night- including a new game that we bought... "Clue!"}
{And a kitty that likes to roll the dice}
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

{ The kids went to Grandma and Grandpa's for the night to wrap some presents while Daddy and Mommy went on a Christmas shopping date}

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{Spending the evening in town at local businesses... making crafts, decorating Christmas cookies and watching a parade in the rain}
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

{Decorate Ugly Christmas Sweater Cookies}

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt- I printed these off for the kids to check off as we drove around looking at Christmas lights}
