Niyah and I spent about 6 hours this past Saturday volunteering to help benefit the animal shelter.
We were wait staff at a local event called "Pancake Days", an all you can eat pancake breakfast with REAL maple syrup! Local non profit organizations were able to set up booths at the event.
By volunteering, the shelter received a monetary donation.
Niyah served pancakes and I helped wipe down tables and add new place settings.
We had a fun time being waitresses in order to help our furry friends. .
So nice that you give not only items to the shelter but also donate your time. Niyah is such a great kid with a huge heart. Its so refreshing to see such a selfless soul, the world needs more Niyahs!! And Angies too of course! :)
