Advent...Day 4

We rang the bell for the Salvation Army today. Since we are doing it several times this month, I didn't include it as an actual advent activity.

Before going to ring the bell, we hung out at work with Daddy and did our school work there. 

Tonight after supper, we did our actual advent activity...

Making a Pretzel Log Cabin.

We have made Gingerbread houses before, but they always end up thrown in the trash instead of getting eaten. The gingerbread is always super hard and not very tasty.

This year, I thought pretzels would go over better. That and chocolate frosting instead of the traditional "cement" used for Gingerbread. 

It was a big hit!
